Swing Stations Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to providing clients and users of our facilities (jointly “Users”) with a fun recreational activity. Since providing this service involves the collection, use and disclosure of some personal information about the Users, protecting their personal information is a high priority.

Since Swing Stations Inc. collects personal information during commercial activities; we have and adhere to a privacy policy that complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and its principles. By accessing or using our Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Principle 1 — Accountability

1. We are responsible for Users personal information under Our control and will designate an individual or individuals who are accountable for compliance with the following principles.

Accountability for Our compliance with the principles rests with the designated individual(s), even though other individuals within the organization may be responsible for the day-to-day collection and processing of personal information. In addition, other individuals within the organization may be delegated to act on behalf of the designated individual(s).

   3. Creating and managing bookings on our Website;

   7. Complying with all relevant federal and provincial legislation.
7. We will not use User’s personal information for purposes other than those identified above without first obtaining your additional consent, unless required by law.
8. We will document the purposes for which personal information is collected in order to comply with the Openness Principle, Limiting Collection Principle, and Individual Access Principle.

10. By using this Website and booking with Swing Station Inc. you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as set out in this Privacy Policy.

Principle 9 — Individual Access

22. Upon request, any User will be informed of the existence, use, and disclosure of their personal information and swill be given access to that information.
23. A User be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate.
24. In certain situations, We may not be able to provide access to all the personal information We hold about an individual. Exceptions may include information that is prohibitively costly to provide, information that contains references to other Users, information that cannot be disclosed for legal, security, or commercial proprietary reasons, and information that is subject to solicitor-client or litigation privilege.

Principle 10 — Challenging Compliance

25. Users have the right to challenge Our compliance with this Privacy Policy and PIPEDA. If User believes that We have not complied with this Privacy Policy or PIPEDA, they may:
    1. Contact our designated individual(s) in writing with the details of your complaint.
    2. We will investigate all complaints and respond in writing within 30 days.
    3. If the complaint is found to be justified, We will take appropriate corrective measures.
    4. If a User is not satisfied with Our response, they may escalate the complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
